Sport Relief goes walkies to find the ‘Top Dog’

An exciting and adorable new game show, ‘Sport Relief’s Top Dog’ is set to hit TV screens, and will see teams of dogs and their owners compete in a variety of challenges that will test their talents and physical agility. The new series will be broadcast in the run up to the Sport Relief weekend, with the first episode airing on Monday 3rd March on BBC Two.

In each of the twelve knockout rounds, two teams will compete for the chance to make it through to the semi-finals, where a grand final awaits and the chance to be crowned ‘Top Dog’. Teams will be made up of one celebrity team captain and their dog, one professional dog and their handler and a domestic pet dog and their owner. All will be putting their best paw forward in the hope of taking home the title.

This year’s Sport Relief is all set to be bigger and better than ever as, for the first time, the public can choose to run, swim or cycle at the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games across one weekend from 21st – 23rd March 2014.

The epic weekend will see events taking place in over a thousand locations around the country and at the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Those lucky enough to get a place, and follow in the footsteps of their Olympic and Paralympic heroes, will be some of the first to experience the Park in all its glory as it fully reopens.
